The first version of our Guide was written in 2019 by Ca_Gi, who kept it up to date until early 2022. Since then the Guide has been updated by Giarminio, who also takes care of the development and maintenance of the website and contribute to its translation from Italian to English language. Many other Mastodon users, particularly from the mastodon.bida.im Italian instance, have contributed to the writing of the Guide and to the website development and maintenance. Among them we would like to thank at least Jops, an admin of bida.im who is in charge, among other things, of the bida’s server hosting mastodon.help, RedGlow, who integrated Patrick Schur’s PHP library for automatic language recognition into the crawler that collects data for our Mastodon instances search engine, and paulbutgold, who developed the website admin section’s page to manage its notifications.
